You have probably known something before you could explain it. A hire that felt wrong on paper, and turned out to be wrong in practice. And you have probably talked yourself out of it.
Most of us were trained, carefully and for years, to distrust that ability. To call it bias, or noise, or woo-woo. So it goes quiet. Not because it stopped working, but because it stopped being consulted.
It goes quiet at the worst possible moment. Uncertainty is now the working condition, not the exception, and analysis needs stable ground to stand on. A survey of British business leaders this year found seven in ten now second-guess themselves when AI disagrees.
Not check their reasoning. Doubt it.
What is scarce now is not information. It is judgement.
I know this because it happened to me. I climbed fast, delivered, and by my late twenties had gone numb to my own signals. Getting that ability back took years of research and mentorship from experts around the world. It became my work.
In this masterclass I'll show you what intuition actually is, when research says it is reliable and when it isn't, and how to tell it apart from fear. A practice you can use in your next difficult decision, grounded in the science and practice of InnSæi®.
1. Where intuition comes from, and how to trust your gut properly.
Trust your gut is good advice. It simply never arrives with instructions. Intuition, our ability to sense-make and discern signals from noise,
is intelligence in the whole body, not just the mind.
Your gut, by which I mean your whole body, is giving you real information, and a hunch is real information too,
worth exploring rather than dismissing. What you need is a way to discern what you are actually hearing.
That is what makes intuition trainable rather than mysterious.
2. How to tell intuition from fear.
This is the question I am asked a lot. Fear can be explicit and clear to us. A fear condition can also be the product of stress and high cortisol,
which still creates a fear-mindset affecting our ability to listen, process, interpret and act on information.
There are reliable markers, and once you know them you stop second-guessing yourself in the same way.
3. When to use intuition, and when not to.
A well-honed intuition is a key to our ability to perform well under uncertainty and complexity.
Data and analysis are what we should rely on in certainty, when we have known-knowns.
Most of us are trained in data and analysis. Few of us are trained in mastering our intuition.
The key to making good choices and decisions in today's world, is knowing how to use both intuition and analysis, together.
I'll show you how.
Leaders and professionals who carry real responsibility, who are good at what they do, and who sense there is more available
to them than they are currently working with.
If you want sharper judgement and a stronger inner compass, and you are willing to practise rather than only read, you will get something from this.
InnSæi® is not a case for intuition instead of analysis. It is a case for both, deliberately.
Part of that is learning to sense-make in uncertainty and feel into things in a disciplined way, which is its own skill
and one most of us were never taught.

You'll get a better understanding of what intuition actually is - and why it is far more precise and trainable than most of us have been taught.
You'll discover how to read and assess the signals your whole intelligence is already sending you, including the ones you've learned to override.
And you'll leave with three practical keys to start developing the judgment and discernment that will serve you as you continue to navigate uncertainty.
About me

I've given a TED talk on intuition, and the work has been covered by TIME, National Geographic, the BBC, CNN and NPR.
My background spans the United Nations, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Oxford and the London School of Economics.
I'm a Yale World Fellow and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. I was a founding Advisory Member of the International Leadership Centre at Yale University.
I've spent more than 20 years on this question, and I still find it the most interesting one there is.
